The Mahasamadhi of Paramhansa Yogananda on 7 March, that of Swami Sri Yukteswar on 9 March. This weekend is the annual gathering of Ananda Sangha worldwide. It includes practical presentations on a variety of spiritual topics, and an opportunity for Ananda Sangha teachers, meditation group leaders, Ananda members, and friends to come together and help one another spiritually. It is for all those who feel inspired by Ananda Sangha and Paramhansa Yogananda, and who wish to use this inspiration to improve themselves and touch others.
Both the Kriya Yoga Retreat and the Mahasamadhi Retreat will include experiential workshops. Led by Ananda teachers from India, Europe, and America, these workshops will give us the spiritual tools we need and can practice at home to permanently change our lives. Another important element will be group practice of sadhana, including kirtan, meditation, Yogananda's Energisation Exercises and asanas. Personal instruction in spiritual techniques at various levels will be available from Ananda teachers. Both retreats will be held at DLF Phase I Community Centre, Block F-6, near Arjun Marg & Bodhi Marg, Gurgaon.
All spiritual activities are free of charge to Indian residents. Donations gratefully accepted, especially to cover food costs for the retreats.
Pre-registration is important to estimate the number of meals. Pre-register by phone: 98990 14209 or (0124) 405-9550, or e-mail, indicating the meals you expect to attend: ananda@anandaindia.org . You may use this convenient form.
