Global Peace Meditation Day 18 May
Ananda Europa has been chosen by the Club of Budapest as the Italian location for the Global Peace Meditation Day this Sunday, 18 May. As you know, Swamiji was invited into this prestigious group of world leaders, which is a considerable honour for him. It is also an honour for Ananda to host the meditation in our Assisi community’s Temple of Light. During the service, Swamiji will lead a short meditation for world peace.
The Club's president (Erwin Laszlo, shown above with Swamiji at the recent Italian launch of Revelations of Christ) and members would be grateful for Ananda centres across the world to join in this world peace meditation effort. It will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 am Italian time Sunday (1:30 to 2:30 pm here in India), but any other time is also fine. We will join in during our regular morning sadhana 6:45 to 8:30 am in Gurgaon, and at other regular satsangs in the NCR later in the day. You are invited to register your presence at the Club's Web site.

Swami Kriyananda Birthday Event
Join us for a celebration of Swamiji's birthday Monday 19 May at 7:30 pm, B-10/8, DLF Phase I in Gurgaon. We'll chant, meditate, and tell stories of times with Swamiji. Swami Kriyananda's Birthday Next Monday
Swamiji will be 82 years young on 19 May. He will still be in Italy on the occasion. If you'd like to wish him cybergreetings, you can write an e-mail message and send it to swamicard@earthlink.net by midnight of 18 May. Messages will be collected and placed into a single file to present to him on his birthday morning.

The Italian edition of Swami Kriyananda's recent book Revelations of Christ, based on the teachings of Yoganandaji, was launched in April to an audience of over 700. Swamiji views the book's Italian debut of special import.
