News: A New Programme Guide for the Ananda Pune Retreat
Centre
(see full programme guide or
programme highlights)
Dear Friends:
It is with joy that we send you a copy of our first-ever
program guide for the new retreat center in Pune, India!
Last spring we started with one retreat weekend a month,
and now we have graduated to TWO weekends a month with special
events sprinkled in. We even have a week-long family program
planned for next May when school is out here in India, and
before that, around Christmas time and Master's birthday,
we will probably have guests the whole time, so it will
be a continuous party.
Even now, with the monsoon in full swing, we have a couple
of weekend guests, as well as the 7 young men in the "Panels
for Peace" program. The monsoon weather, by the way,
is heavenly! It's 76 degrees Farenheit (24 C), and blissful;
suddenly, the landscape is beautiful everywhere you look.
Divine Mother is showering Her life-giving blessings.
My phone-camera is broken, but I will try to send more
photos soon. Enjoy the program guide: it is 2 pieces of
A4-size paper, printed on both side, then folded, and placed
one inside the other. There will be a rate sheet with maps
and addresses on a half-page insert soon. The piece lists
the fact that we have a sevaday every Saturday from 10 to
4, and then a satsang/kirtan from 4 to 5, all here on the
community land.
On Sundays, Jaya and Sadhana have a busy day of programs
at the apartment house in Pashan where they have an extra
apartment for a temple/classroom and guest rooms.
The "highlights" piece shows you just the main
weekend/week-long programs, so if you are thinking of visiting,
you can see what is happening at a glance.
The beautiful lotus painting on the cover is a black and
white version of Ria Pati's original color painting, "Lotus."
Thank you, Ria!
Blessings, and hope to see you all soon at SRW! Aum, N.
