Application for Membership

Ananda Sangha is primarily a fellowship of souls, not of purses and pocketbooks. Donations are of course welcome, for it takes money to run an organization even if its fundamental aim is to be of service to mankind. All that Ananda Sangha asks of its members is their heartfelt commitment to the basic principles stated in these pages, and an agreement to share with others, in spiritual partnership with us, in the dissemination of these ideals.

Should you desire to join us in that spirit, we invite you to enroll as a member. Simply fill in and sign the form below. In return you will be inscribed as a member, and will be given (or sent) a card declaring your participation in Ananda Sangha. Membership confers no rights, and no obligations; it is simply a declaration of solidarity with the spiritual ideals propounded by Paramhansa Yogananda, and of your own desire to reinforce the efforts of others toward these ends by your active good will, prayers, and loving support. Membership includes no requirement that one resign from any other organization. Except in cases of extraordinary abuse, membership may be terminated only by the member himself

The first 1,000 members in every country will be assigned a number, and will be inscribed as charter members of Ananda Sangha in that country.
