COURSE DETAILS

Meditation and the Path of Kriya Yoga,  LEVEL I

In this course, you will learn the keys to meditation as taught by Swami Kriyananda passed down from Paramhansa Yogananda. This is the first step in preparation for Kriya Yoga initiation. No prerequisite. All are welcome. Two main techniques are taught: Meditation: Hong-Sau is a powerful technique taught by Paramhansa Yogananda to develop concentration by experiencing the relationship between the breath and mind. Energisation: These energisation exercises and their principles enable you to tap directly into the limitless source of cosmic conscious energy. This practice imparts control over the subtle life force within. It also helps harness and direct the will to deepen the practice of the Hong-Sau technique. Other practices taught include pranayama, devotional chanting, and affirmations.

Meditation and the Path of Kriya Yoga,  LEVEL II - The Art and Science of Raja Yoga

Based on Swami Kriyananda’s book The Art and Science of Raja Yoga, this is one of the most comprehensive courses available on the ancient science of yoga. Some of the topics covered are breath, mind, spinal currents, chakras, energy, mental and emotional attitudes, devotion, will power, yoga philosophy, psychology, meditation, energisation, yoga postures, affirmations, healing techniques, and the role of the guru.
Prerequisite: Level I
